GW NEW VENTURE COMPETITION

Client: GW Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship

My Role: Lead Designer

The GW New Venture Competition (NVC) is a yearly event hosted by the GW Office of Innovatino & Entrepreneurship (GWOIE). Students from GW take an idea, team up with other students or alumni, and go through an intense process to turn their idea into a start up venture.

It takes a lot of pieces to put together a successful venture. When you first start out, you don't have a clear direction in where you're going. The pixelated distortion of the background shows that the path to the finish line is unclear. The figures are also splintered and offset to portray the same thing.

As the year went on and the finals approached, we would highlight past participants. When showing them, the effect was less chaotic as they had gone through the process and brought their idea to life and made it to the New Venture Compeitition Finals.

Below are posters that were put up on campus to promote the Finals and get people to register and attend the event.
